Climate: Ireland has a mild,
oceanic-temperate climate due to mild southwesterly winds and the
Gulf Stream. Summers are warm, with temperatures generally range
from 15C to 20C; while temperatures during winter are much cooler,
between 5C and 8C. Spring and autumn are very mild, with
temperatures attested on the 10C.
Rain falls all year, with up to 275 days with rain in some parts of
the country, the nearly constantly cloudy sky is one of the features
distinguished the Irish landscape. Frequent are the fogs. The annual
medium average of rains is around 800-1,400 millimeters, with
maximums of 3,000 millimeters on the most exposed south-western
mountains and minimums around 600-700 millimeters in the most
protect eastern coastal areas. Whatever the time of year, be
prepared for rain.
July or August, is the best period for a visit of Ireland, you can
expect reasonably warm weather, longer days. Also spring and autumn
can also be delightful seasons. |
